Important Requirements

To get the maximum benefit from your Markel Basic Health Insurance plan with a minimum of time and effort, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with these important requirements:

1. Always send new employee/dependent enrollment form to Pioneer Management Systems immediately upon completion by the enrollee.
2. Send notices of changes in coverage or of employee or dependent status (i.e., termination of employment, death, retirement, change of benefits) as they occur.
3. Always include your Sponsor Number and the Employee's Certificate or Social Security Number on all forms and letters.
4. Always pay the exact amount shown on your monthly bill.
